Okay so technically, I wouldn't exactly fit the dictionary.com definition of the word, buuuuut, hey I am now capable of shooting so it works for me.
That's right my friends! I finally got to shoot a gun! For the first time in my life! I mean, I never figured that I'd really ever shoot a gun, never mind 7 different kinds!!!! It was so fantastic (and I got to skip work day which was cool). For those who actually know what they are (aka not my sisters...haha) I shot a 22 Revolver, a 22 semi automatic, 338 Revolver, 9mm Glock, 45 Glock, 22 Rifle, and AR15. Pretty much loved the 338, the 45 and the AR15. You just feel so powerful...but at the same time, it's kinda frightening to be holding a weapon of not-quite-mass-but-still-destruction in your hands.

Interestingly, I found out I am left eye dominant which makes shooting the Rifles and such interesting as I ended up having to shoot them left handed...that was cool...
It was fun to go with a bunch of girls, many of who also hadn't shot often or ever so most of us were learning and it was hilarious and such fun. It was a super beautiful day as well so that was really nice. All together it was exhilarating and a really fun experience that I wouldn't object to trying again.

Sounds like a fun time! Don't know if it's in the air or what, there were a few neighbors out doing the same thing here yesterday... I don't do it much myself any more because of some health issues but have good memories.

I don't think I like thinking about my wee girl shooting a GUN!! I had to smile at the second picture here...it looks like you have on these huge white earrings...what is with that??
